The Sussex County Miners, a proud member of the Frontier League, are seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Game Day Staff as Ticket Takers & Greeters at Skylands Stadium for the upcoming season. This is a great opportunity to be part of the fun, fast-paced atmosphere of professional baseball while ensuring our fans have the best possible experience from the moment they arrive!
Position: Ticket Taker & Greeter
Location: Skylands Stadium – Augusta, NJ
Schedule: Part-time, seasonal (nights, weekends, holidays)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet fans with a warm, welcoming attitude as they enter the stadium.
- Scan and check tickets quickly and accurately at all entry gates.
- Provide helpful directions and general information about the stadium, seating, promotions, and events.
- Monitor gate areas and assist with crowd flow to ensure a smooth and safe entry process.
- Answer guest questions and resolve minor issues or direct them to the appropriate staff as needed.
- Assist with handing out giveaway items when applicable.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout your shift.
- Represent the Sussex County Miners with professionalism and positivity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season.
- Prior customer service experience is a plus but not required.
