Position: Account Manager for Growing B2B Solar Pump Company
We believe in increasing the resiliency, independence and self-sufficiency of rural families, farms and ranches by helping people take control of their most important resource. Water.
Our company specializes in Solar Water Pumps that can be installed easily. The popular kits include a submersible pump that goes down the well, a controller, solar panels, and all the parts necessary to connect them together when in the field. We are passionate about getting more and more wells 'off the grid' powered by renewable energy, empowering and teaching customers how easy it is to DIY themselves.
Account Manager - Well Drillers & Pump Contractors
You will be the connection point of customers (usually well drillers, pump installers, contractors) to size, quote, order and support solar-powered water pumps.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with new B2B customers
- Demonstrating a strong problem solving-skill set and a customer centric mindset while avoiding the no mentality.
- Being on the front lines of the phones, answering calls and texts throughout the day both sales and support
- Provide solutions that prioritize a rapidly growing system
- Assisting customers in fulfillment and technical support, troubleshooting
- Take great notes, stay organized, take care in following up with customers
- Enjoy being on the phone and in front of a computer all-day
- Multitask to stay on top of your busy schedule
- Show proactivity and responsibility towards your tasks
- Be able to work hard together in a team environment
- Put quick-thinking, technology and tools to good use
- Possible addition of trade shows and travel
Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills, learning new software quickly
- Positive, friendly, helpful attitude to shine through
- Excited to learn new things quickly
- Obsessive about detail and perfection when it comes to customers
- Comfort with lots of multi-tasking
- Creative and results-driven
- No prior solar or well pump sales experience required
- Technical background, B2B sales, account management a plus
