Sustainable Energy Group (SEG), a family-owned solar company, is seeking experienced Solar Installers to join our team. We are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals who take pride in high-quality craftsmanship and sustainable energy solutions.
Key Required Responsibilities:
- Install Solar PV systems, including flashings, racking, conduit, inverters, and other components, with precision, safety, and efficiency.
- Read, understand, and interpret job documents, including single-line diagrams and data sheets.
- Work safely at heights, including climbing ladders and working at heights/on roofs, while following all company safety policies. (Fall Protection Experience strongly desired)
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and maintain productivity and positive attitude in extreme environments.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with team members and customers, representing our company to our communities.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with office management, crew members, and customers, tracking and recording your work progress with photos and job notes.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work, with Safety at the top of that structure.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently sometimes, work independently in a productive and positive manner sometimes.
Qualifications:
- Required: Previous experience installing Solar PV systems.
- Preferred: NABCEP Certification, OSHA 10, and other industry-related (such as manufacturer) certifications.

- solar and electrical: 1 year (Preferred)
- Solar: 2 years (Preferred)

- Grass Valley, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
