We are hiring for a cross-trained position supporting both the doctors in the clinic setting along with supporting the clients at the front desk.
The Responsibilities Include:

The Responsibilities Include:
- Effectively communicating between all members of staff; functioning as a liaison between clients and medical staff, in a fast-paced environment
- Answering phones to schedule appointments and manage client inquiries
- Using a web-based practice management system to schedule appointments and surgeries, communicate with staff, and manage client requests
- Greeting clients & pets with a smile and welcome voice as they enter our reception area, and checking them in for appointments and drop-off procedures
- Checking clients out after services are rendered; reviewing invoices before collecting payment; auditing medical records for completion and accuracy
- Maintaining detailed medical records and updating patient histories
- Animal care and handling to assist the veterinarian with examinations and procedures using the Fear Free approach
- Administering medications and treatments; collecting and preparing biological samples (blood, urine, feces) for laboratory testing; performing diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays or ultrasounds, under supervision.
- Explaining treatment plans, medication protocols, and aftercare to pet owners; providing grief support to clients dealing with critically ill or deceased pets.
- Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of basic animal care and medical terminology.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds or heavier.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and take directions from veterinarians and senior staff members.
- Compassionate nature and genuine love for animals.
- Should be comfortable with computers and typing when fulfilling CSR duties.
- Fulltime: 4 weekdays or 3 weekdays and a half day Saturday.
- Commensurate with experience, starting at $17.50
