Transactional Legal Assistant Career Opportunity with our client in West Los Angeles, CA.
The Clark-Ito Group, Inc., Executive Search, is currently representing a well-established financial organization on the west side of Los Angeles as they are seeking to increase their legal staff. This is a great opportunity if you are seeking to grow into a Paralegal role.
Our client seeks a dedicated Legal Assistant professional that will provide support to Attorneys and Paralegals for a broad range of legal transactions. Some of the responsibilities include providing advanced word processing support for complex legal contracts, proofreading, review and clean-up draft documents to correct formatting, cross-reference, typos, table of context, exhibits and other issues; create document mark-ups and input attorney and paralegal comments as requests, etc.
Requirements :
- At least 3 years of experience performing advanced word processing functions for complex legal documents in a law firm or company legal department.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Workshare Compare, DocuSign, HotDocs, Adobe Acrobat, and hCue (or other entity management systems).
- Experience arranging notarizations and legalizations of legal documents; appointed notary desirable.
- Experience working with online data rooms.
- Experience preparing materials for corporate board meetings and SEC and stock exchange filings.

This will be a hybrid (mandatory 3 days per week in the office) work remote opportunity
Salary : 90-120k DOE plus paid benefits, bonus, and stock options
