Outbound Business Development Sales Representative
The Outbound Business Development Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding the customer journey, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You will be responsible for building customer rapport and achieving customer trust and satisfaction. A competitive, sales driven personality along with great listening skills to understand the customers wants and needs. The ability to cross sell/upsell additional products and services to achieve maximum potential.
Responsibilities:
· Making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on leads.
· Ability to sell, promote products and services while providing professional and courteous customer service.
· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
· Maintaining database (NetSuite, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
· Work Independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to communicate through multiple channels (Phone, Email, Text); sometimes simultaneously.
· Knowledge and execution of sales process from initiation to close.
· Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
· Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
- The role is for an outbound call sales rep to come in and assists in business development and develop rapport with potential dealers/distributors.
- Sales rep will need to call on potential leads and source new dealers and develop new business through online Big Box stores, Hotels, Nursing Homes, etc.
- Sales rep will be required to get appointments set up for the Director of Sales with the decision makers from older and newer dealers/distributors so that we can sell and negotiate new ongoing business relationships.
- Once a customer starts purchasing from us, we will make sure that the dealer is satisfied with purchases and hand over the dealer account to that rep to manage.
- The sales rep will have to make sure each dealer/distributor is maintaining a satisfied state while providing and maintaining excellent service with all orders and inquires going forward.
- The outbound sales rep will also make sure that we are upselling and increasing the dealers’ orders year after year.
- The outbound sales rep will have to take detailed notes on each call and maintain a very organized follow up schedule with potential clients and for management to oversee.
Requirements:
- ERP and CRM experience
- Durable or Soft Goods experience
- Experience meeting sales quotas and KPI’s
- At least 5 years of sales experience. Online Sales experience highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is required but being bi-lingual is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
