Description
The Program Manager will have the responsibility to provide profitable, on time, to specification, saleable programs for SW North America. Programs to include the sale and delivery of anyone or more of Technical Support, Machines, Machining TurnKeys, Automation, and/or Systems. The Program Manager will work within a cross functional team of SW and/or external personnel resources to streamline communication, and ensure assigned deliverables are completed on time. Work in partnership with the Sales group to develop and maintain positive customer relationships. Responsible to manage all project deliverables including SOW, timeline, open issue, budget to manage assigned projects from cradle to grave.
Requirements
The Program Manager performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
· Coach and manage a program team to achieve or exceed 100% of the assigned program requirements without having functional reporting authority over any team member
· Manage program customer communication and align team members with correct corresponding customer personnel.
· Periodic reporting to team members, customer, & SW management the program status
· setup, manage, and communicate program deliverables, timelines, budgets, open issues
· Develop program budget and manage all change orders
· Schedule and manage periodic meetings with SW team, customer, and suppliers
· Manage program communication and development with SW Global Sources
· Write and maintain statements of work for customer awarded projects using inputs from team members. technical inputs to be obtained from technical engineering.
· Maintain the feasibility assessment with team members.
· Setup and maintain list of all customer runoff requirements. Focus team on launching the program to meet or exceed all runoff requirements to achieve on time customer signoff
· Write and maintain statement of requirements for suppliers supporting customer awarded projects using inputs from team members.
· Setup and maintain list of all supplier runoff requirements.
· Work with internal and external workholding suppliers to complete detailed design, build, and prove out of project workholding and support all field modifications.
· All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Abilities:
· Fluent in Spanish and English Required
· Must be able to legally work in Mexico & US for extended period of time
10 years’ experience
Detailed understanding of Customer Workpiece Tolerance Specifications, Precision and Capability of Company Product, and Full Process Feasibility Assessments
Classification & Compensation:
· The position is full-time, permanent and exempt
· Business travel is estimated to be 100%.
· The pay range varies, depending on experience, skills, abilities, and length of service with the Company
