Supervisor: Lead Dock Attendant / Maintenance & Marina Manager
Position Type: Seasonal (May–October), Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Pay Rate: Starting at $16/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: 8 AM – 8 PM, 7 days a week (flexibility required)
Job Summary:
Swan Bay Resort & Marina is home to 100 slips, watercraft rentals, and an onsite boat launch. We are looking for Dock Attendants who bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and top-tier customer service to our waterfront experience. As a Dock Attendant, you will be the face of our marina, assisting guests with docking, rentals, and marina services while ensuring safety and cleanliness. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires attention to detail, initiative, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests with docking, fueling, and boat rentals.
- Maintain a clean and organized marina, including docks, walkways, and rental equipment.
- Operate the reservation and point-of-sale system for rentals and purchases.
- Ensure rental boats meet safety and cleanliness standards before each use.
- Monitor fuel logs and uphold safety protocols for fueling operations.
- Perform daily dock walks, maintenance tasks, and assist with special events at the marina.
- Stay knowledgeable about marina policies, boat rental rates, and local waterways.
What We’re Looking For:

- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Basic boating knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable handling transactions and operating a register.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30–35 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, wind).
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
