What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator position at Swan Health at Wichita Falls?
POSITION SUMMARY: The SNF Administrator is responsible for all strategic and operational functions of the Skilled Nursing Facility. Leading the SNF senior management, he/she is responsible for developing and implementing the mission and vision of the facility. He/she has responsibility for meeting the goals and objectives of the facility, including all operational, financial (budget), and quality indicators. Leading the facility senior management team, he/she is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Swan Health brand, developing and maintaining positive physician relationships, and developing and maintaining positive relationships with all referral source facilities leadership teams. He/she promotes a culture that reflects the organization’s mission and values, and encourages the development of high performing teams, rewarding positive performance and productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; master’s degree in Hospital and/or Health Care Administration preferred.
- Minimum of five years of acute and/or post-acute experience in senior leadership role.
- Knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility regulations, state & deferral regulation, survey processes, business development, reimbursement, expense control and overall operations
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
