About us
Swan Mountain Women's and Family Clinic provides comprehensive care for women and families, including obstetrics, gynecology, and full scope primary care services. Our team of five board certified physicians and one experienced nurse practitioner is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients in a caring and compassionate environment.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Practice Manager at Swan Mountain Women's and Family Clinic in Breckenridge, CO. We try to offer flexibility in this role but the job requires 40 hours per week.
The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including:
- Personnel management: hiring, training, and evaluating staff
- Implementation and maintenance of systems and processes to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance
- Credentialing and re-verification of providers
- Management of provider and staff schedules within medical EMR
- Management/Oversight of call schedules
- Coordination of provider and staff meetings
- Management of patient satisfaction
The Practice Manager will also be responsible for managing financial and facilities operations including:
- Accounts payable - track and pay all clinic invoices on time
- Management of cash and check deposits and reconciliations
- Management of contracts for facilities operations (snow removal, cleaning, security system, etc.)
- Collaboration with our external accountant for timely filing/payments
- Management of practice marketing
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for staff and patients
- Management of building and parking lot maintenance
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare administration or medical practice management required
- Innovative with strong organization, leadership, and management skills
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with medical professionals and staff
- Understanding of human resources principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
