General Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance and repair skills, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of residential and commercial properties. The Handy Man will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, completing repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and structures, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functionality.
• Respond promptly to service requests from clients, addressing their needs in a timely manner.
• Perform installations of fixtures, appliances, and equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
• Knowledge of using an ohmmeter is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
