Swappa is a user-to-user marketplace for buying and selling gently used mobile and gaming technology. Safety and simplicity is the core of our brand. Swappa is hiring a developer to help us run an eCommerce site to produce $100M in yearly sales.
The Backend Django Developer role will be responsible for creating and implementing performant code that is easy to read and understand. Your goal will be to improve commerce through good implementation on top of cloud-based, scalable technologies. The ideal candidate must be able to implement sound technical solutions that support millions at scale from specs or from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Implement efficient functionality using Django and web technologies
- Translate high-level ideas into usable interfaces
- Help design and implement A / B tests
- Participate in peer reviews
