Swaysland Professional Engineering Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician with proficiency in AutoCAD to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural/civil engineering principles and be able to assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, designs, and project documentation for a variety of structural repair projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate AutoCAD drawings, including building plans, building elevations, sections, and repair details.
- Collaborate with Engineers to review design specifications and ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform field measurements and site visits as necessary for project assessment.
- Modify and update existing engineering drawings and documentation as needed.
- Maintain organized project files and drawing records.
- Support the engineering team with any other tasks as required to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Current student earning bachelor degree in civil engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with structural drafting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
