POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the Warm Springs Foundation Marketing team, serves as the lead for content marketing on the various digital communication platforms for the organization, including but not limited to website, social media, email, and other public websites. Coordinates the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of monthly newsletters. Curates’ pertinent information and turns it into consumer-friendly, easy-to-understand content that engages and promotes services with the target audience. Continuously maintains and improves content to effectively communicate services with customers. Works with the Chief of Marketing and Community Engagement Officer to develop campaigns for all digital media platforms. Authors content to post both on the organization’s website and social media platforms. Analyzes, measures, reports, and optimizes digital content performance and proactively identifies and recommends improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital content strategies across email, website, and social media platforms.
  • Create visually appealing graphics and images to support various digital marketing initiatives.
  • Write and edit engaging content for emails, website pages, blog posts, and social media channels that align with the organization's marketing strategy and SEO goals.
  • Collaborate with the leadership and marketing teams to brainstorm new content ideas and campaign strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital content using analytics tools to optimize campaigns and improve engagement.
  • Stay up to date with digital media trends and best practices to continuously improve content effectiveness that’s both compelling and informative.
  • Develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic.
  • Obtain and evaluate analytics to monitor and improve performance of digital campaigns.
  • Other assigned duties as needed
  • Ensure content follows SEO best practices and company style guidelines

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least five years working in digital content creation and management.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar design software.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform, Semrush, and/or associated tools.
  • Familiarity with design criteria of HTML/CSS and web publishing.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising and social media marketing strategies.
  • Certification in digital marketing or related field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting: Most of the workday will be spent seated at a computer.
  • Fine motor skills: Dexterity to operate a keyboard and mouse efficiently.
  • Vision: Good eyesight to read and view digital content on screens.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear conversations and phone calls clearly.
  • Occasional lifting: May need to lift and carry light items like documents or equipment.

Environment:

  • Office.
  • Remote work, as needed.
