What are we looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & People leader to lead our Studio Operations teams. The Director will oversee all aspects of STRONG’s studio construction, operations, people and culture and performance. This includes overseeing and driving revenue, sales, studio operations, customer experience, and community impact.
The ideal candidate is a leader in sales and customer-obsessed (think Eleven Madison Park, Four Seasons), with tremendous leadership skills. They have experience in selling themselves, coaching salespeople, sales team management, customer service training, marketing, lead generation, leadership and always leading by example. YES! You will also need to be trained in the STRONG pilates coaching curriculum.

Here are some of the things you'll do:
- Be a player/coach and lead with purpose, passion, and performance. This includes contacting leads and welcoming them into their first class, meeting prospective clients and converting them to members, and following up with missed sales.
- Assemble, lead, and train a team of talented sales and education instructors to achieve monthly sales targets and service existing customers.
- Build a strategy and road map for growing the STRONG brand in New Jersey in collaboration with the CEO and other ELT members.
- Network and execute grassroots marketing initiatives in your studio communities with partnerships and collaborations by leveraging our head office events team
- Participate in weekly leadership meetings to evaluate your and your studio leaders performance numbers and build actionable plans together.
- Oversee studio expenses such as payroll, marketing budget, and more

Here is what we want from you:

- We want you to build a calendar of events that will keep the studio staff and marketing team busy all year!
- 10 years in leadership/people management (retail, service industry, consumer goods)
- 5 years in a multi unit management role
- 5 years in sales
- Bachelors is a plus, but not required -- we love people who have grit and show heart and passion
- Experience with membership sales is a significant advantage

Our HQ office is located in Cranford, NJ with studio locations across New Jersey and New York

About STRONG Pilates
STRONG Pilates is a high-intensity, low impact, full body workout that combines rowing and biking with Pilates-inspired movements, utilizing an innovative Rowformer and Bikeformer machine.
Unlike regular pilates, the Rowformer and Bikeformer allows for elevated heart rate by using the row and bike side, then transitioning back to the Pilates side. The increased intensity results in a substantial calorie burn helping the consumer burn body fat while also receiving the benefits of Pilates.
