COMMERCIAL HVAC CONTROLS SUPERINTENDENT

Responsibilities
- Leads his Branch in the full execution of all project’s scope of work within the timeline and financial guidelines set by the Project’s Budget.
- Assists Branch Manager in the creation of all job Budgets and provides “buy-in” as the leader of the installation team.
- Through collaboration with the Installer, identifies a project’s potential scope gaps and elevates the impact to the Branch Manager.
- Acts as the liaison between all field personnel and the office for material requisition, HR needs, company directives and Branch Manager initiatives.
- Provide input to our customer’s Construction Manager baseline Schedule to allow adequate time for our installation.
- Reports projects accurate “percentage of completion” to Branch Manager for use in financial projections, billings and backlog review.
- Promotes the culture of quality while maintaining budgeted margins.
- Mentors the branches Installer and Apprentices, performing the coaching and training needed to elevate them to the next level.
- Facilitates the Company’s Safety Policy and ensures Foreman’s implementation.
- Provide useful feedback on employee’s performance to the Branch Manager during their annual reviews.
- Performs weekly job walks of all projects to ensure our workers are maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality and efficiency.
- Serves as the Primary Point of Contact for our customers and their representatives for the installation execution of all Branch projects
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 yrs. experience in the Electrical Installation of HVAC Control Systems.
- Experience leading multiple crews on multiple sites.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer literacy with good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Possess a clean driving record and be cleared to operate a SWECS Vehicle.
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certificate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
