In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision we are currently seeking a Lead Financial Reporting Analyst in Richmond, VA.
The Lead Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible to lead the overall preparation and analysis of financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) for the US Division for the actual and budget reporting and comply with all reporting requirements and subsequent / complementary information to Finance organization as well as other key stakeholders.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead the team that ensures the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting data within the various reporting tools (local, PMI & Swedish Match corporate systems)
- Execute all required controls in order to ensure financial reporting is executed within the completion, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Support Accounting Manager and Manager of Financial Reporting and Financial Systems with financial reporting related requests from external auditors
- Support accurate and reliable budget and forecast financial statements by coordinating day-to-day activities in financial planning and reporting
- Support business users on finance tools, providing guidance and follow up on timely resolution.
- Coordinate and consolidate the monthly, quarterly and annual submission of schedules and variance analysis reporting for all Swedish Match Legal entities for US market
EDUCATION :
Bachelor's degree in accounting is required. Some public accounting experience and / or CPA desired.
EXPERIENCE :
Minimum of 5 years of experience with focus on financial reporting and analysis is required. Strong knowledge of financial systems required.
