What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Key Account Manager position at Swedish Match AB?
Swedish Match North America LLC, a rapidly growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) producer and market leader of well-known smokeless tobacco products, nicotine ZYN pouch products, as well as complementary products, is currently seeking a 7-Eleven Senior Key Account Manager
The objective is to achieve specific sales plan by product groups at 7-Eleven HQ. The sales plan is developed by the 7-Eleven Senior Key Account Manager. 7-Eleven Key Account Manager in conjunction with his / her line manager. Assignment of the sales plans (goals) are based on the mutually agreed goals set by each product group and the Region Director of Sales.
Leadership / People Development
1.Reinforce the performance appraisal process through coaching, to increase growth and development of the sales organization.
2.Provide a development plan for each 7-Eleven Field Operations Manager (FOM) to ensure they have the necessary knowledge, skills and characteristics that will enable them to be considered for further advancement. Encourage through coaching.
3.Evaluate 7-Eleven Field Operations Manager(s) and recommend for reward and recognition. This requires the ongoing monitoring and upgrading of performance objectives and role standards.
4.Participate in the process of evaluating and hiring additional support personnel for the organization when the need arises with 7-Eleven HQ. Corporate Human Resources, Business Development Manager, and the Region Director of Sales will support the process.
Space and Business Vitals
1.Develop, lead and actualize a strategic business plan that will grow operating profits and revenue year to year with 7-Eleven HQ. The focus will be against distribution, merchandising execution, identifying region growth opportunities, brand displacement, and category management.
2.Understand and utilize syndicated data (7CShopper, I.R.I. Nielsen, and consumer) to identify space dimension opportunities. The purpose is to assist the Region Sales Director in setting region goals and objectives, develop the sales presentation, and support and assist in the region planning process.
3.Identify and mobilize internal (BIM, customer service, marketing, sales leadership, sales operations, financial, production) and external resources that actualize specific space dimension improvement goals for 7-Eleven HQ. (Space dimensions, pricing, distribution, display, displacement, mental).
4.Manage and allocate national trade and promotional spending budgets with the objective of being aligned to US Division guidelines.
5.Assess and evaluate the business results of 7-Eleven HQ and recommend strategic change strategies if necessary.
Operational / Structural / Conceptual
1.Understands and translates national and regional policies, procedures, operating strategies, and plans to 7-Eleven Field Operations Manager(s). This includes transferring knowledge and understanding of all personnel and vital business information.
2.Provide timely delivery of region administrative requirements, (i.e. monthly district recap, forecasts, vital business assessments, etc.).
3. Create and lead an environment characterized by cooperation, credibility, candor, consistency and a commitment to exceptional performance. The focus is against building capabilities for growth, operate as a network, use the benefits of Swedish Match scope and scale, and encourage one another to think differently every day.
With Customers
1.Develop, recommend and actualize customer business and development strategies and assigns customer coverage.
2. Develop preferred relationships with customer's key decision-makers at all levels within the corporate and franchise segments of 7-Eleven HQ. The US Division standard is to focus against being the customer Category Manager and gain the customers "top of mind" position.
3. Lead the strategic customer review and assessment process and recommend improvement strategies when required.

Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Consumer Packaged Goods
