OVERVIEW OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

They will be responsible for supporting the safe, legal, and economical maintenance operation of company owned and customer aircraft to the highest standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote safety throughout the organization as mandated through company policies identified by management
- Consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Create a culture of accountability through communication of clear expectations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable FAA maintenance regulations and requirements
- Coach, lead and provide development opportunities for aircraft maintenance team members
- Create an inclusive and trusted environment where collaboration and communication are key
- Oversee the scheduling of aircraft repairs, compliance inspections, and ensuring timely and quality completion
- Cultivate relationship with FAA (and other agencies) for matters regarding the Maintenance Department in coordination with various department leaders
- Responsible for reviewing and approving contracts related to maintenance assets and outsourced vendors
- Support outside customers to ensure positive relationships
- Develop and grow our aircraft maintenance services across our facilities ensuring consistent adherence to company values and culture
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- FAA Aircraft and PowerPlant Mechanics Certification
- Inspectors Authorization (IA)
- Willingness to travel to multiple shop locations
- Experienced and professional approach to working with FAA Inspectors
- Proven Leadership Skills with experience leading and coaching aviation team members
- Proficient in the use of computer systems and software applications
- Strong Conflict Resolution Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative solution solving while adhering to a safe and reliable operation
- Pass a Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's degree, preferred
