Your role:
The General Manager provides strategic direction, maintains operations, and drives results through people development, sales, and growth. General Managers hire, train, and coach through company values to uphold standards and achieve the company mission. Your Contribution and Responsibilities:
Focus on Customers and Community
- Provide consistent, positive, and engaging customer experiences rooted in company values
- Create and foster a customer-centric shop culture
- Address customer needs and concerns through genuine care and authentic human connection
- Embrace, share, and coach customer feedback
- Cultivate and nurture a lively and spirited shop vibe for the team and customers
- Create and foster community connections outside the shop
Build Effective Teams
- Design and execute strategic staffing plans that meet the needs of the business
- Identify and hire the right talent
- Ensure effective onboarding and training to ensure retention and minimize employee turnover
- Foster a growth-oriented environment through continuous team development, coaching, and feedback
- Plan and execute company training programs
- Contribute to and conduct sessions for the company manager-in-training program
- Supervise and address team performance
Execution
- Ensure the overall health of the business by achieving the company’s mission in the most efficient and financially responsible way
- Ensure effective execution of daily operations
- Navigate ambiguity, embrace and lead change, and make intentional and strategic decisions
- Clearly detail and communicate shop performance to the leadership team
- Utilize and oversee established systems, tools, and procedures
- Uphold company standards and norms
- Coach and uphold Sweet Cow’s standard of cleanliness
- Ensure optimal product and supply levels through accurate inventory taking and ordering
- Delegate tasks based on customer flow and necessary action items

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years of service industry experience and two years of management/leadership experience
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for the entirety of a shift
- Willingness and ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Adhere to the written schedule
- Maintain a weekly schedule of 42-44 in-shop hours

Google Meet Screening
- If your resume looks like a great fit, we will schedule a quick virtual chat within a week of your submission.
Performance Tasks
- You will receive two task prompts within one day of our Google Meet discussion.
- Responses are due within 48 hours of receiving the tasks.
In-person Interview, Performance Task Review & Stage
- Within five days of your Google Meet screening, we’ll invite you in for an interview, review your performance tasks, and give you a chance to experience Sweet Cow in action via a stage.
Reference Checks & Offer
- If everything went great in our interview, we will reach out to your references and follow up with an offer letter within 48 hours of the in-person interview.
