The Sweet Express Human Resources team has an opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator. The position serves a vital role in supporting our Drivers and teams. The Human Resources Coordinator will apply attention to detail and organization skills to perform administrative tasks to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resources department. The base schedule for this position is 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
As the Human Resources Coorindator, you will:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation with significant attention to detail
- Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, payroll, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
- Provide clerical support to the HR department
- Support benefit processing, answering employee questions, and fixing processing errors.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers
- Conduct new hire benefit orientation
- Plan and execute with HR Manager support special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
We are looking for the privilege of working with a Human Resources Cordinator who possesses:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite or related software
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn benefit management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
An ideal Human Resources Coordinator would possess:
- Prior related office experience
- Human resources certification, training and/or post-secondary coursework preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
