Sweet Kiddles by Kids and Company are seeking experienced and caring individuals to join our team as a Director-in-Training at our University Circle location! In this position, the Director-in training will be required to perform other duties as needed to maintain the Center at an optimal level for all children, their families and all staff.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily activities and performance of childcare staff, ensuring adherence to center policies and state regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and caregivers, offering feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the center meets all local and state regulations, including health and safety standards as well as monitor daily safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Assist in handling communication between parents and staff, addressing concerns, and ensuring families are informed about their child’s progress.
- Observe and learn from the center’s current director, offering assistance where needed while gradually taking on more responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Documented experience working with children in a daycare or child care setting.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- CDA / AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Clear background checks and up-to-date health assessments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively.
