Overview
The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of our organization. This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in process improvement, operations management, and business development. The Executive Director will work closely with the board of directors and senior leadership to ensure that the organization meets its mission and objectives while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of organizational strategies and initiatives that align with the mission and vision.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the organization.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, community partners, and donors.
- Drive and improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that support organizational goals.
- Provide leadership while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth.
- Oversee project management efforts to ensure timely completion of initiatives within budget constraints.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for business development and growth.
- Represent the organization at public events, meetings, and conferences to promote its mission.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as an Executive Director or similar position.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and operations management, contract review and writing along with some public speaking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing a diverse group of board members.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful partnerships.
- Experience in woking with a Board of Directors who are governed by Organizational Bylaws as well as Policies and Procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make budget-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- A commitment to the mission of the organization and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
