Sweet Wynns is an ice cream making workshop located in Downtown Richmond that focuses on teaching customers how to create premium ice creams from scratch. In our instructor-led workshops, you will taste your way through ice cream history, discovering its sweet origins and earliest flavors. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Sweet Wynns is looking for an Ice Cream Workshop Assistant to join our growing customer service team. This position will be responsible for assisting with the ice cream making lessons and managing the retail operations of the store. Assistants will greet customers, answer questions related to the merchandise, shop policies, and the ice cream workshop. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is able to keep up in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be local to the Richmond area and be able to work weeknights and weekends.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Welcome and engage with customers as they enter the shop.
- Assess customers' needs and suggest solutions to their problems.
- Process customer payments and workshop attendee check-ins.
- Prepare workshop equipment and instructional materials for ice cream lessons.
- Keep the workshop and food storage areas clean and safe, adhering to Department of Health guidelines.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and emotionally supportive environment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Must be 16 or older by the first date of employment
- Must be able to work in the US for any employer
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- People-oriented personality
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work weekends
