Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated low voltage Field Technician to join our team. The Field Technician will be responsible for providing on-site support to diagnose and resolve technical issues for our clients. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in low voltage systems, and excellent communication skills.
Duties:
- Travel to client locations to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on telecommunication equipment
- Utilize hand tools to troubleshoot and repair cabling and wiring issues
- Conduct field service visits to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems
- Test and configure Cisco routers and other networking devices
- Use an ohmmeter to measure electrical resistance and diagnose electrical problems
Requirements:
- networking / low voltage knowledge.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Experience working with hand tools and cabling
- Knowledge of field service procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and networking equipment is a plus
- ability to travel
