Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our auto group’s finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cash flow, analyzing financial data, and supporting the company’s treasury functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Assist in the preparation of all daily cash bank reconciliations for all locations
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, including credit risk, interest rate risk, and foreign exchange risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly treasury dashboard, prepare and present treasury reports, including cash flow statements, liquidity analyses, and other financial metrics for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to treasury operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within treasury functions and assist in implementing best practices.
- Assist accounting and financial teams in inventory and financial audits
- Assist accounting, operational teams and executive management to track, report and collect manufacturer performance incentives
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 2-4 years of corporate experience in treasury, finance, or related areas, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and interpreting financial statements.
- Knowledge of treasury management systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) a big plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, motivated by results, problem solver, team player
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while completing projects on time with varying timelines and priorities.
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting: The majority of the workday is spent sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone.
- Standing and Walking: There may be times when the analyst needs to stand, walk around the office, or attend meetings.
- Reaching and Bending: The analyst may need to reach for files, supplies, or equipment.
- Lifting: Occasionally, there might be a need to lift or move documents, supplies, or equipment. Occasionally requires lifting up to 20 pounds.
