The Finance Manager plays a critical role in the dealership's profitability. You'll be responsible for securing financing for customers, structuring deals, and presenting a variety of financial and insurance products to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Responsibilities:
1. Finance & Loan Processing:
- Secure financing: Obtain loan approvals from lenders.
- Process loans: Finalize loan documents accurately and efficiently.
2. F&I Product Sales:
- Present and sell: Offer and explain financial products (e.g., warranties, gap insurance).
- Maximize profitability: Structure profitable deals for both customer and dealership.
3. Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service: Build strong customer relationships and ensure a positive experience.
- Address concerns: Resolve customer inquiries and address any issues promptly.
4. Compliance & Regulations:
- Adhere to regulations: Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations.
5. Team & Business Support:
- Train staff: Mentor sales staff on F&I processes.
- Analyze performance: Track sales and identify areas for improvement.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive finance or a related field (e.g., banking, lending).
- Strong understanding of automotive financing principles and loan options.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer skills and dealership management software (DMS).
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Knowledge of F&I regulations and compliance is a plus.
