Security Guard Part TIme

Job Summary:

• This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and property within the manufacturing facility during assigned shifts.
• You will be the first line of defense against unauthorized access and potential threats, ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Monitoring:
  • Regularly patrol designated areas of the facility, both on foot and via vehicle, to monitor for any suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Access Control:
  • Control and monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
  • Manage visitor access, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Secure all entrances and exits, locking doors and gates as needed.
• Incident Response:
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, following established protocols.
  • Document all incidents and activities in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide assistance to employees and visitors in need.
• Security Procedures:
  • Conduct routine security checks of buildings, equipment, and access points.
  • Follow all security protocols and procedures, including those related to access control, emergency response, and incident reporting.
• Communication:
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with supervisors and other security personnel via radio or other communication devices.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to relevant authorities in the event of an incident.
• Other Duties:
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on the specific duties of the position.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Schedule:

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Night Shift - 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
