We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Availability to work on 1st and 2nd shift.
Duties
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively, including voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of low voltage systems and electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including knowledge of voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
- Experience or willingness to work on construction sites, with an emphasis on commercial electrician tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills with a focus on safety practices in industrial environments.
- Eagerness to learn from experienced electricians and develop skills in both low voltage and high voltage applications.
