What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Mechanical Assistant position at Swift Staffing?
Electronic Mechanic Assistant needed for our government client in Hunt Valley, MD. The Electronic Mechanic Assistant will install mobile radio equipment, emergency lighting & siren, mobile computer equipment and other systems in client vehicles. Six month contract position with possible extension. The non-negotiable pay rate is $19.50 per hour.
Essential Duties :
- Install two-way radios, mobile computers, antennas, transmission lines, wiring, cables, and other electronic equipment in vehicles.
- Install other interconnecting electrical and electronic equipment, sirens, intercom and public address systems.
- With training, may program communications equipment as directed.
- Perform testing, preventive maintenance and inventory of electronic equipment.
- Perform set up duties not limited to minor wood and metal fabrication.
- Accurately document work performed and record equipment identification numbers.
Qualifications :
