Job Summary

Duties
- Supervise and support nursing staff in daily operations to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving health needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff, providing feedback and facilitating professional development opportunities.
- Ensure proper coding for patient records and adherence to DRG guidelines.
- Oversee infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide training on IV infusion techniques and phlebotomy as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and nursing interventions.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology, acute care, geriatrics, anatomy, and infection control practices.
- Proficient in nurse management principles with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Experience with coding systems relevant to healthcare documentation.
