About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality patient care in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. As a Unit Manager, you will oversee daily nursing operations, coordinate patient care, and support staff to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities:

✅ Supervise Nursing Staff: Manage and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to provide top-quality patient care.
✅ Coordinate Patient Care: Oversee admissions, discharges, and transfers while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams.
✅ Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, including infection control and safety regulations.
✅ Staff Training & Development: Conduct performance evaluations, training, and mentorship for nursing staff.
✅ Quality Assurance: Monitor patient care plans, medication administration, and treatment protocols to ensure optimal outcomes.
✅ Incident Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, incident reports, and ensure proper documentation procedures.
✅ Family & Patient Communication: Serve as a point of contact for families, addressing concerns and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

Active RN License in Massachusetts (MA) (Compact license preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; prior Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Supervisor experience preferred
Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth unit operations
Excellent Communication & Organizational Skills
Knowledge of State & Federal Regulations (CMS, OSHA, and DPH standards)
