The role involves collaboration with the sales and merchandise teams to ensure all details are clearly documented and customer requirements are met. You will provide detailed analysis on customer sales reports, recommend product assortment optimizations, and create customer-facing documents and presentations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and is a proactive team player capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.

About The Role
Swig Life is hiring a Merchandise Specialist to manage special order projects from concept through customer delivery. The role involves collaboration with the sales and merchandise teams to ensure all details are clearly documented and customer requirements are met. You will provide detailed analysis on customer sales reports, recommend product assortment optimizations, and create customer-facing documents and presentations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and is a proactive team player capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Manage special order projects lifecycle from concept through customer delivery
- Oversee project management system in collaboration with sales team to ensure smooth execution of sales activity
- Manage all vendor portals, new item setup, and review vendor paperwork
- Work with sales, marketing, supply chain, and merchandise teams to meet client needs
- Collaborate with merchandise team on custom project briefs, understanding MOQ, pricing and costing requirements, artwork, packaging, fixture builds, and timelines
- Review customer requirements and communicate challenges and opportunities including routing guides, ticketing, packaging, special instructions
- Communicate factory and logistics requirements with internal teams
- Support Sales Team with Analytics and Merchandising Collateral
- Track and analyze key account sales, prepare reports, and monitor KPIs including category performance, product sell thru, top/bottom performing collections, pricing, store analysis
- Recommend product assortments based on store type, historical sell thru, price point, company sales data, and competitor insights
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, pricing, and product files
- Review all incoming key account sales orders for accuracy and inventory availability
- Coordinate key account inventory needs with planning teams to ensure delivery dates are met
- 3-5 years of wholesale sales coordinator or merchandise experience, ideally with a consumer products brand
- Bachelor's degree in merchandising or business preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system
- Proven ability to manage high volume of accounts, juggle competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proactive problem solver with a customer-centric mindset and strong attention to detail and organizational excellence
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
