Swim Team Coach

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and sports coaching, with the ability to educate and motivate swimmers of all skill levels. This role is essential in fostering a positive and engaging environment while promoting health, fitness, and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to individual swimmer needs and goals.
• Conduct swim practices focusing on technique, endurance, and competitive strategies.
• Educate swimmers on the rules of swimming competitions and proper swim etiquette.
• Monitor swimmer progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Organize swim meets, including preparation and logistics for events.
• Promote safety in the water by enforcing pool rules and ensuring a safe training environment.
• Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive training program across different sports disciplines such as basketball or martial arts when applicable.
• Engage in behavior management techniques to foster a positive team atmosphere.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and competitive strategies.
• Experience in sports coaching, particularly in swimming or related disciplines such as Judo or martial arts.
• Ability to educate and motivate athletes effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with swimmers, parents, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills for planning practices, meets, and events.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively within a team setting.
• Lifeguard Certification

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per year
