What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Vice President of Finance/CFO position at SWIM USA?
The Executive VP of Finance provides leadership and coordination in the accounting, control, risk management, business planning and budgeting efforts of the Company. The EVP of Finance is also responsible for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory requirements and oversees the financial audits as well as all internal and operational audits for the Company. This position is also responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, risk management, and tax planning, and has direct oversight of the IT department. This is a key hire to our leadership team and will be the eventual successor for our current CFO who will be retiring.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with CFO in developing and executing the Company's strategic direction.
- Tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.
- Provides financial reporting and guidance to senior management and the CFO, including reporting, budget information, strategic planning, and profitability maximization through income, expenses, trends and analysis.
- Generates financial and management reports, manages finance staff, oversees and coordinates with outside auditors, outside examiners and other agencies.
- Develops the Annual Operating Budget with senior management. Provides timely forecasts by establishing assumptions, reviewing preliminary department and consolidated budgets and modifying as appropriate.
- Preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis for meetings. Meets with board members as needed or requested. Prepares and presents monthly updates to senior management.
- Responsible for maintaining corporate banking relationships and management of corporate line of credit and compliance with debt guidelines.
- Exceptional insight to budgeting and cost control principles.
- Manages IT department which consists of VP of IT and four other internal / company team members and includes outside service (TPA).
- Interface with all levels of operations management.
