Job Description Summary:
As a Maintenance Millwright, you will work and collaborate with a team of millwrights, electricians, and mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, and reliability focused maintenance practices. You are responsible for attending and participating in team meetings & trainings, identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues, coordinating activities with production teams to maximize productivity and minimize cost, and reducing waste while proactively addressing reliability concerns.

- Work with the team to proactively identify safety issues and take measures to address concerns.
- Actively participate in maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work completion
- Contribute by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
- Lead and ensure compliance with safety initiatives.
- Utilize predictive and preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.
- Efficiently troubleshoot issues to meet volume and quality goals.
- Participate in training processes to build the team's technical skills.
- Identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
- Raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching and development.
- Achieving and sustain business goals.
- Consistently demonstrating leadership skills as well as positive influence and accomplishments in proactively influencing safety, environmental, quality, productivity, and people development
- Utilize computer-based programs to prioritize maintenance requests, maintenance inventory management, and maintenance resource delegation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of four years' experience in Industrial Mechanical work
- Knowledgeable in the areas of hydraulics, air systems, mechanical drives, mechanical components, installation methods, troubleshooting and repair techniques and methods, welding, and basic industrial electrical.
- Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based programs and internet skills
- Knowledge of Maintenance Planning software such as SAP preferred
- Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail.
- Lift and/or pull 50lbs.
- Climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
- Willingness to work in various locations and conditions, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
- Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Adhere to all OSHA and Company safety practices and procedures.
This position will initially be administered through an external agency for a minimum of 90 days and upon satisfactory completion of this timeframe we will transition to a role directly employed by TImberlab.
