    • Only considering candidates with the following :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English)
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Professional and positive communication skills
  • Experience navigating Electronic Medical Records and Outlook
  • Ability to handle and diffuse patient complaints and disagreements

    • Responsibilities :

  • Greet patients and other visitors arriving for appointments
  • Check patients in upon arrival and out when they leave
  • Verify insurance benefits via phone call to other providers, insurance companies, etc
  • Collect copayments and balances
  • Call PCPs to obtain referrals and / or authorizations if required by new insurance
  • Obtain, verify, and enter patient info into EMR
  • Complete end of day closing duties
  • Assist in cross-training new personnel on front desk duties
  • Answer phones promptly and courteously
