Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets are met.
- Uphold and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain efficiency and compliance.
- Lead daily team meetings to communicate priorities, expectations, and address any concerns.
- Monitor production schedules, track progress, and support on-time delivery of products.
- Promote a safety-first culture by proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, forklift operation standards, and internal safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions.
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Team Leaders and employees, fostering skill development and engagement.
- Manage workforce planning, including staffing and scheduling, to meet operational demands.
- Oversee time and attendance tracking in UKG Kronos for accurate payroll processing.
- Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and scrap rates to control costs and improve efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in a technical or business field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Daily Management, and Material Flow methodologies.
- Familiarity with problem-solving techniques such as PDCA, Kaizen, and SMED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact across all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
