Details:
- $50 - $65 per hour pay rate
- Full Time
- Contract - 1 years
- Onsite in Hartsville, SC

- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in a role with relevant regulatory affairs or consumer packaging experience
- Knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and regulations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Perform regulatory review of Sonoco's thermoformed and flexible packaging products
- Regulations include FDA and other global food contact regulations, Proposition 65, CONEG/TPCH, REACH SVHC, and others
- Presence of animal derived materials, allergens, GMO, chemicals of concern in packaging, and others
- Compose response letters for internal and external customer inquiries
- Manage inquiries and documents in regulatory systems
- Set up new and update existing raw material regulatory records
- Obtain and review supplier documents
- Enter material compliance status in regulatory systems
- Participate with cross-functional teams supporting various projects
- Provide feedback on regulatory questions
- Keep team informed on progress during projects requiring regulatory support
