What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Swiss Automation Inc?
Human Resources Generalist provides day-to-day HR support in functional areas including, but not limited to, selection and staffing, FMLA, ADA, EEO/AAP, Policy Administration, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Payroll Administration, and HR compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consult with Management and provide HR guidance.
- Partner with HR team and Legal when and as needed.
- Give recommendations on company policies' and update them in a timely fashion to comply with company development needs and updated government policies. Take the lead to communicate adjustments timely and coordinate actions to implement.
- Maintain HRIS records and complies reports from the database.
- High integrity and highly confidential in all aspects of department or organization interaction.
- Undrstands employee concerns/issues and facilitates resolution through various HR activities, trainings, and legal guidance.
- Leads and conducts investigations while working in partnership with HR team and various departments to bring employee concerns to conclusion.
- Provide guidance/coaching to Managers in handling employee relations and assist with leadership development.
- Plan/develop/facilitate leadership training.
- Responsible for ADA accommodations/LOA's.
- Support/develop/implement HR projects.
- Complete exit interviews for offboarding.
- Identifying and implementing organizational effetiveness initiatives that enhance performance, productivity, and reduce cost while striving to maintain employee engagement.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity an retention.
- Ensures effective communication of HR products, services, and programs (e.g., benefits, orientation, training, and development initiatives, etc.)
- Identifies issues/problems that are impacting each location and works with internal partners in their resolution.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documents, files and records in both electronic format and hard copy in compliance with established guidelines.
- Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high-pressure atmosphere. Combines strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.
- Performing other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Human Resources Department.
- Travel to Swiss automation locations as needed.
