What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Admin position at Swiss Automation Inc?
Position Summary: The IT administrator position will provide technology solutions and front-line support to our internal staff, resolving technical issues and resolve them with their technical skillsets or with the help of a remote team. This individual should have a strong technical aptitude, be extremely responsive to co-worker's needs, and work well in a team. Most of all, you need to bring a genuine enthusiasm for the efficiencies and increased productivity that new technologies bring to a business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers, IP cameras, cell phones, and other network devices.
- Maintain inventory for office/warehouse computers and other equipment.
- Provide local and remote end user support to multiple brance offices through in-person requests, phone, and via a ticketing system.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and support of MS Office applications and ERP systems.
- Ability to provide support and provide basic end user training to ERP software.
- Work with remote resources to troubleshoot local network infrastructure issues.
- Assist in the installation and documentation of network infrastructure including but not limited to firewalls, switches, routers, IP cameras, wireless access points, phone systems. IP phones, printers, industrial control hardware and software, etc.
- Must be willing to work on-site in a manufacturing environment as well as on-call after hours and over weekends.
- Must be able to perform other duties as requested.
