What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater position at Swiss Learning Center?
Swiss Learning Center in Dallas, TX is looking for one floater to join our team. We are located on 3814 Swiss Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable.
FLOATER JOB DESCRIPTION
Help keep daycare clean and presentable (floors, tables, restrooms, kitchen).
Keep washrooms clean and organized
Refill any supplies needed by the teachers
Put away supplies as they come in
Help teachers to prepare and request classroom materials
Help cover lunch breaks daily
Cover classroom when a teacher is off or calls in. (Classrooms range from Infants to Pre-K)
Wash laundry
Wash any required dishes
Take infants on a stroller walk if weather permits
Help in any other area that will be required or asked, such as splash day, picture day, events.
Help serve lunch and snack
Help teachers by allowing them 5-10 min. to gather materials that they may need
Take out recycling or trash daily
Sweeping and mopping
- The usual and customary methods of performing the job functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting up to 30 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and some fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires sitting, walking, and standing.
