US L&H Operations Analyst drives operational excellence for the US L&H Financial Accounting & Reporting team. We deliver successful financial performance through carrier reporting, analysis, insights, collaboration with various finance communities, operational improvements and more.
We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication skill and a passion for operational improvement. An ideal candidate will bring experience in multiple areas: team collaboration, process mapping, as well as problem solving skill while dealing with ambiguous situations. Additionally, the candidate will possess the desire to understand the details of the process, while challenging it for further efficiencies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to understand business processes and conditions that underpin the systems/ tools
- Analyse, define and support the development of the Finance & Accounting Reporting team journey, identifying and applying continuous improvements
- Analyse and build processes and ensure process adherence
- Promote and manage collaboration between internal and external teams worldwide to deliver service to Operations.
- Identify and leverage solutions that drive operational improvement, such as robotics/ automation
- Provide transparency on progress by actively communicating with all involved stakeholders.
- Provide updates to key stakeholders on relevant projects and topics

About You
- Bachelor's degree (Business related such as Finance, Accounting, Insurance) or equivalent minimum of five (5) years' work experience
- Three years relevant process analysis and/or experience in project/change management
- Basic knowledge and understanding of life insurance principles and practices
- Client-focused, responding to insights and feedback with relative and accurate solutions
- Manage time and changing priorities while maintaining workload
- Capable of working with multiple financial systems/ tool sets, delving into focused areas to provide operational analysis
- Thrives in a multi-cultural, international team appreciating differing insights and work styles
- Passionate about partnering with colleagues on projects alongside ongoing responsibilities
- Change implementation and process automation experience a plus
- Communicates timely and clearly with customers and clients verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate discretion, independent judgment, and professionalism Fluent English required
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Willing to travel as frequently as required. Average annual travel is <10%.
