Quality Inspector (12-hour shift)

Swiss-Tech is a precision manufacturing company that is family-owned with a 60-year history. We supply top quality parts to customers in defense, medical and aerospace companies. We are in a growth mode and looking to expand our workforce to help support this. We offer on the job training to develop our best asset, our people.

We are looking to add several Quality Inspectors to a new re-designed cell that will support one of our biggest customers. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring our product conforms to our company quality standards and customer specifications.

We have multiple openings for this role:

• Thursday to Saturday 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with alternating Wednesday
• Thursday to Saturday 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. with alternating Wednesday

Responsibilities include:

• Use a variety of measuring devices to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications. This would include, but not limited to calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gages, thread rings, and plug gages.
• Calibrate applicable gages and measuring equipment per instruction.
• Assist with PPAP, SPC and other quality related customer documentation.
• Perform general preventive maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Train other employees to maintain or improve job skills.
• Contribute to continual improvement initiatives.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
