Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to regional finance teams and management.
- Work with senior management on financial analysis, capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure proper controls are in place and maintained to safeguard financial assets, including compliance with relevant accounting policies and procedures.
- Review balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure proper reconciliation and supporting documentation.
- Conduct P&L account analysis to support the month-end process, including cost analysis and evaluation.
- Lead and develop accounting staff, fostering positive working relationships with managers across departments.
- Create and implement staff development goals, focusing on professional growth and succession planning.
- Coordinate financial reporting, payables, billing, collections, and payroll with relevant departments.
- Respond to documentation and information requests related to internal and external audits.
- Recommend and lead initiatives to improve management and financial performance.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Background in manufacturing, construction, or multi-unit operations is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively in both leadership and team roles.
