Title : Cost Accounting Analyst - Inventory Pegging and Distribution
Location : Salt Lake City, UT
Job Type : FTE / Permanent
Work Schedule : 9x80
Essential Functions :
- Field costing-related questions from the business and auditors (both internal and external), including the analysis of pegging and cost movements.
- Perform journal entries, general ledger account analysis, and reconciliations related to inventory.
- Improve inventory reporting, including cost analysis at the material part level, labor, and recalculation of G&A and overhead.
- Consolidate, analyze, and report inventory balances by product line and perform detailed monthly variance analysis, as well as quarterly balance sheet classification (RM, WIP, & FG).
- Strong internal control focus, including updating control documentation and supporting internal and external audits.
- Actively seek opportunities to streamline assigned processes and cross-train with peers.
- Assist in project management activities and ad hoc analysis as required.
- Provide support and collaborate with Procurement and Operations as needed.
