Graphic Technical Center Manager

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Achieve a zero-workplace injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized workplace using Lean manufacturing and 5S techniques.
• Ensure all personnel comply with safety requirements, including attendance in safety training and the wearing of personal protective equipment.
• Properly train and supervise personnel regarding ink management and "on press” performance.
• Coordinate scheduling of ink orders to maintain an adequate supply to meet customer demand, while aligning with inventory targets.
• Train personnel to weigh, blend, QC, and deliver press-ready inks in a productive, efficient, and safe manner to meet production schedules.
• Follow appropriate quality control and inspection processes, including color control with X-Rite equipment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control records to meet production dates per schedule, including ink adjustments at press, press downtime, and root cause/corrective actions.
• Schedule ink room personnel to meet customer demand while minimizing overtime.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of all products to support customer demand and meet inventory targets.
• Work off press return inventory to meet targets.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of successful in-plant experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
