Title: Project Manager/Estimator

Position Overview
The Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for utilizing past experiences and project specifications to accurately estimate the materials, equipment, and labor required to complete a project. They will create a project budget based on these calculations, which is then presented to Management. All project details must align with company policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)
Travel to potential sites to evaluate existing conditions and meet with relevant stakeholders.
Visit active construction projects to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Submit competitive bids and quotes for projects.
Take initiative in managing costs and financial aspects of the project.
Oversee internal and external schedules to ensure project deadlines are met.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders such as contractors, engineers, and owners.
Track and adjust quantities through all phases of the project.
Prepare estimates, proposals, sealed bids, and subcontracts.
Generate various reports required by the immediate supervisor.
Perform duties as instructed by the supervisor.
Review and approve timecards accurately and in a timely manner.
Effectively manage the needs of the project and stakeholders.
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, or equivalent training and experience.
3-5 years of experience in construction management or civil engineering is preferred.
Experience with estimating and project management software is a plus.
Work Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist colleagues as required.
Willingness to travel and work away from home when needed.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Compliance with safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
