Position Overview:
The Surgery Center Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality surgical services, and driving both clinical and financial performance. The Administrator will lead operational strategies, manage the facility's staff, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards while maintaining strong relationships with medical professionals and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the facility's operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Ensure alignment with the organization's goals and operational standards.
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of the facility's operational strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and delivers a high level of patient care.
- Budget and Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, control costs, and ensure resource allocation aligns with operational goals. Conduct financial analysis to monitor performance and cash flow.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies. Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and oversee contracts with physicians, suppliers, and service providers.
- Staff Management: Manage both exempt and non-exempt employees. Conduct performance evaluations, handle staffing changes, and oversee employee development programs.
- Clinical Services Oversight: Work with the Medical Director to ensure clinical programs meet regulatory and accreditation standards. Manage clinical departments and contracted services.
- Quality Improvement: Develop, evaluate, and implement a continuous quality improvement program to ensure high standards of care. Monitor quality metrics and drive corrective actions where needed.
- Medical Staff Relations: Coordinate with the Medical Director to review and process medical staff credentials, fostering strong relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Sales and Marketing: Lead the development of the facility's marketing strategy and support business growth efforts.

- Proven experience in healthcare facility management, preferably in a surgical or ambulatory setting.
