Swoon partners with a global leader in conveyor solutions seeking an Electrical Product Development Engineer for their state-of-the-art facility in Walker, MI . This role offers the opportunity to design and develop smart, connected solutions that enhance conveyor systems, working alongside a top-tier engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop electronic products for conveyor applications, including sensors, controllers, and communication modules.
  • Implement and optimize IoT technologies for real-time monitoring, data acquisition, and system control.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct testing to ensure performance, reliability, and industry compliance.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers for seamless integration.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering (Master's is a plus).
  • 3 years of experience in electronic product development, ideally with IoT applications.
  • Proficiency in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, embedded systems, and wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
  • Experience with design tools like Altium Designer, MATLAB , and programming in C / C , Python (a plus).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
